The Day has Finally Come: London!

The flight from RDU to London was a bit interesting. Dale and I weren't seated together; she was row 20 and I was row 26. We make it to our respective seats and I find a swaddled baby laying in mine, yes, a baby. The father of the baby asks if his wife and daughter can take the row I'm supposed to be on so they can be seated together. Of course I say yes, because who likes splitting up a family? So I then move myself and my luggage 3 rows back to row 29, get my luggage in the overhead compartment and get settled, when my neighbor from row 26 (and her boyfriend) come walking up wanting to sit together. Again, I oblige because I'm a kind person. My next seat becomes row 25, and thus the end of my musical chairs! I have to say, the baby was very well behaved, along with the family's other 3 children. So, it didn't end badly, for me anyways...Dale on the other hand had a whole different situation, one best saved for another time!

London is cold and dreary, and it stays dark until 8ish. But the buildings are beautiful, even if a lot of them do look alike! A few of us decided to wander around before heading back to the hotel for a nap. We have a welcome party tonight at 6 and who knows what will happen after!

Stay tuned for more on the London adventures!

xoxo
